The House Wren would be a first for my yard as well, so I would be satisfied with that sighting. This was a very small bird though. As it first flew by I thought it was going to be a Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher which I frequently see, but this bird was as small if not smaller. I am going to prowl the neighborhood in the a.m. I hope it hangs around for another day. Perhaps I can do better with my field markings.
