There was a white-faced whistling-duck reported on EDDMapS, a nonnative species database, on 6/24 just west of Riverbend Park and south of Indiantown Rd in Jupiter. It was reported through Loxahatchee NWR and I am working on better location for our database. The FWC tracks both or these species as nonnatives. I wondered about the timing of the white-faced whistling-duck record relative to the storm also, but I am not sure whether there is any significant population in the islands.
