Tropical Audoboners:
Yesterday (6/26) I observed a WHITE-CHEEKED PINTAIL at point-blank range as we were merging onto southbound I-95 from Dean Ross Road in Jupiter. I would have reported sooner but have been getting bouncebacks until now from the Birdboard. There were also four MOTTLED DUCKS here but a bit further south in the same ditch.
I am aware that local encounters have been considered birds escaped from captivity, but I was captivated by thoughts of our tropical storm (including powerful SSE winds) that has been passing through the area lately.
