Visiting birder from Switzerland

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place but it was suggested that this might be a good place to ask the question. I'm a European birder from Geneva Switzerland and will be in the Miami area for about 3 days (19 thru 21 March)before going on to Belize and would be interested for information concerning best local birding spots easily reached from the Miami area, local "hot" birds etc. I would also be delighted to meet up with any local birders going out for a few hours too.
