There was a light phase Short-tailed Hawk over my home in the Falls area on Sunday 1/9 as well. As part of last fall's thread regarding light/dark phase ratios, I have had 3 (presumably different)hawks in area from South Miami to Falls this winter, and all 3 were light phase. On Coot Bay CBC, we had 4 hawks, 2 light and 2 dark.
