: I wonder if that same pair of blue-and-gold macaws is especially mobile, or if there is a large number of them in the Miami area. I saw a blue-and-gold last Sunday in the top of a royal palm at the Coral Reef Yacht Club, just north of Monte's on Bayshore. (I also caught and released a big sailfish on light tackle . . . altogether, not a bad day.)

: Yesterday afternoon(1/9/2005) there was a light phase short tailed hawk circling with the vultures at SW55th Avenue and SW76th Street(just 4 blocks south of the TAS Headquarters). They often winter in the area.
: High Pines is surrounded by Coral Gables and South Miami.
: This morning produced 2 blue and gold macaws two blocks south at SW55th Avenue and SW78th Street.
