Wacky on 1-5-05 and1-6-05

Went to Wackodiahatchee Wetland yesterday morning and this morning. All the regulars are there. Of great interest are the Black-bellied Whistling ducks seen yesterday, Limpkin calling, active Anhinga and Great Blue nests, many Green wing Teals, Sora , Purple G. and one short look at a Least Bittern. I spent almost an hour photograghing the two GBH nests as the males fly in with sticks. The lower nest, on the same island as last year, is low and still being built. However no sighting of Paul the Other!
