I made a visit very early this morning and all of the above are still there. The loon was at the west end of the lake, while the ring-necks and the ruddy duck are at the east. The 3 lark sparrows were on the ground between shelters 2 and 4, feeding in a area with dry vegetation under an oak. The area lies between the parking lot and the asphalt walkway between the shelters. Nice to have these birds so close to my house. Thanks for the post Bill!
