Hey Larry, I hadn't read your post about the Bahamian Mockingbird but i know Spanish River attracts unique birds. Initially i thought it was a Brown Thrasher until a friendly lady told me that it was a Bahamian Mockingbird that a friend told her to check it out! Anyhow, i saw, heard the bird sing nonstop, and got some shots. I couldn't do better shots for the limitations of the far away distance from the bird and the capability of my 250mm camera. Nonetheless, you can certainly id it. The legs are tall, the body larger, light brown on wings and end of tail, with dark-streaked belly. Hopefully i can attach the pics correctly to this email...let's see...
