I remember one May day in 2007 at the Cape when there were many hundreds (thousands really) of Blackpolls. It was great, but it was a challenge to try and find other species that day. In fact it was the most of one type of warbler (including Myrtle!) that I have ever seen in 25 years watching birds. There were large numbers of common yellowthroats that day too, but there were only a few other kinds of birds (that I could weed out).
