When I saw Robin's post I high-tailed it out to Bill Baggs to see some of those 320 Blackpoll Warblers and others. There were about 20 left. the other 300 are probably up around Merrit Island by now. The cuckoos may have made it to Alpha Centauri.
At any rate, the dapper blackpolls, a brilliant Cape May, and a redstart with the sun shining through his wings reminded me what a joy plain old-fashioned bird-watching was on a quiet spring afternoon. No camera needed.
