The La Sagra's Flycatcher put on a short but vibrant show this morning, allowing 5 visiting Northeast birders to have killer looks. It was in Area D from 8:20-8:40 AM, ~40 yards east of the "Bike Trail" sign. It was briefly in that area yesterday (4/16), so checking the edge along that road is a good idea.

The Great Cormorant flew from the lighthouse jetty toward the right at 9 AM.

I slowly accumulated 12 warbler species, including 2 late Yellow-rumped "Myrtle" Warblers. Other birds of interest: Peregrine Falcon, Common Myna, Blue-headed and Black-whiskered (2) Vireos, and Painted and Indigo Buntings.
