The La Sagra's Flycatcher made everyone work hard this morning. After we first heard it at 10:15, Troy's persistence and patience paid off. Eventually, excellent views were shared by visiting birders Troy (Phoenix), Dennis (Flagstaff) and Bruce and Ben (Ottawa). It cooperated from 10:45-11, working the area from the trail entrance to the west, just past the large Sea Grape stand and lone Cabbage Palm. We last heard it at 11:35 AM.
The Great Cormorant was on its rock at the lighthouse jetty around 11:15 AM.
