We had beautiful weather today for our walk through Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden and then Matheson Hammock. There were several highlights like a a flock of Cedar Waxwings perched in the morning light with a beautiful male Cape May Warbler flitting back and forth among the waxwings and a male Indigo Bunting. In Matheson we had a Pileated Woodpecker feeding a eyelevel then dropping to the ground and hoping through the grass to drink water from a puddle.

Thank you to all who attended. I hope to see you all at the TAS Annual Meeting on April 29th 4-7pm.
