Just wanted to add that our ol' birding friends Rhinehart and Scotty were there yesterday waiting patiently for Mr. L Bunting to show up. Rhinehart was asking about some of us South Florida birders. He commented on what a great fall migration we experienced last year. He missed Toe's Yellow-green Vireo. I guess with your boss you can only use that, "I got an emergency" excuse so many times before he gets suspicious especially when you're standing there with a 600mm camera lens wrapped in camouflage material mounted on a tripod. Then Rhinehart mentioned that Toe has been awfully quiet on the birdboard this spring. I said, "Shhhhhh...don't jinx it. Toe has not once used the "s" word this spring migration". Well, I guess there's still time until the fat lady sings or in this case, until the last migrating rarity leaves.
