On the last pelagic out of Mayport, Wes Biggs and others were recalling one such fallout at Ft. D. in the 70's. Maybe 1974 (?). I overheard Wes say something about ~250 Scarlet Tanagers just dropping in from the sky and start feeding. This of course in addition to all the birds that were already there. Sure would love to see something like that again.
