OK, here are the parts of my post that are true:

- I first thought it was a TV
- It was high up
- I only got one good photo

Here are the parts that are not true:

- The photo was taken at Lucky Hammock
- I was not sure of the ID after inspecting the bird
- The photo was taken yesterday

The punch line - April Fools!

Brian called me this morning and he correctly ID'd the bird off the bat. It's a juvenile Zone-tailed. This photo was taken on December 1, 2011 in Colombia. Sorry John and Dan, it's not a Short-tailed. The size was correct since it was easy to compare to the nearby vultures. Also, if you look at the books and photos of juvie Zone-taileds, you'll see it's an exact match. An adult would have been way too easy.
