West African Rainbow Lizard

Yesterday, I stopped at Castellow Hammock to see the hummingbirds (2-3 Ruby-throated and one Rufous). The park gate was closed so I parked by the gate and walked in. On the left side of the gate, by the large boulder, I saw a lizard I had never seen before. I'm sure others have but just in case anyone wants to see it. It's called the West African Rainbow Lizard (Agama agama africana) and it's a beauty! I didn't have a camera but here's a link to a photo of an identical one like I saw. There were many Polydamus Swallowtails at Castellow because of all of the Aristlochia growing there.

The hummingbirds were great to see as well!
