RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH IN MARTIN COUNTY.

A group of birders attending the F.O.S. meeting in Martin County just called me to report a RED-BREASTED NUTCHATCH!!

Here are the directions that I was given which I hope are correct:

From I-95 exit 101, which is the same as route 76, head towards Stuart. Turn right at the second light which is Cove Road, continue on Cove Road until you get to A1A, turn right on A1A. Go about 5 miles to Osprey Road, turn left here towards the water and go all the way to the end. Turn left at the end and look for PECK LAKE PARK. The bird was seen from the parking
lot feeding with some Pine Warblers in a group of 4 or 5 pines.
