Birds have cleared out of the park today (Sunday). There were only 10 warbler species, with reduced numbers. Of interest: Painted and Indigo Buntings (abundant), Chuck-will's-widow, 3 Broad-winged Hawks in wooded areas, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Great Crested Flycatcher and Hermit Thrush. House Wrens have arrived in number and small flights of Bobolinks continue. At one point, a Sharp-shinned Hawk was herding a flock of 9 Blue Jays.
I saw 2 other birders in the distance, so perhaps they have additional sightings.
