Is this a swainsons thrush? I stood transfixed for about an hour watching these and the catbirds feeding in the vines hanging from the pines. The sheer numbers of these was incredible. Also, as I was standing there a flock of hummingbirds came clicking in that contained at least 40. I saw pretty much what you saw except the tanagers but did see a red shouldered hawk by the ball field very early.
