This past Saturday, waited for 4 hours for fork-tailed flycatcher to show up in the Hillsborough county location and finally saw it at 5:30 PM just as we were about to give up on it. On Sunday, went to Ft DeSoto. Long-billed curlew was actively feeding in the North Beach lagoon area. Also, patiently waited for the lark sparrow to show itself, braving very windy conditions at the fort. We were rewarded with excellent looks at this lifer. There were more than 200 Redheads in the Terre Verde pond. Missed on the cinnamon teal at Celery Fields but birders at the site said that they had just seen it.
