Just looked at Glenn Miller's excellent photos with the other cormorant and only have one question. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT OTHER CORMORANT WITH THE NEOTROPIC? That thing isn't a Double-crested! Small blackish bill, no orange in the lores, no "double-crest". If I were guessing I would say that bird is an adult Double-crested X Neotropic breeding with a pure Neotropic, opening several other cans of worms. The most notable being how long have Neotropic Cormorants been breeding in south Florida given it takes a cormorant 2-3 year to reach adulthood.
