I have received a report from a reliable source, that a first winter
Black-headed Gull was seen. This sighting was on January 7, at noon.
The bird was seen in "John Stretch Park", this park is south of
Clewiston about 5 miles? The park is located on the north side of US27,
as you enter the park there is a grassy area on your right. The
Black-headed Gull was seen with a flock of mixed gulls sitting in this
large grassy area. I think the park is located on page 107 C3 of the
DeLorme Atlas, maybe someone knows exactly where this park is located.
