Happy 2012, South Florida Birding Community!

A reminder that Tropical Audubon Society has two out-of-state birding tours coming up in 2012: Trinidad and Tobago June 14-24 and the Sky Islands of Southeastern Arizona July 25-August 2. See the TAS Events Calendar for specifics; email me as soon as possible if you'd like a detailed itinerary and trip application. Currently, I don't have enough people signed up to run either of these trips and my deadlines are quickly approaching.

As I begin to plan for 2012-13 and beyond, I'd like your input. What kinds of birding field trip experiences would you like to see Tropical Audubon Society offer in the future? Are there enough of you out there who can support long-distance field trips, or should we discontinue offering them? Any and all non-sarcastic suggestions are most welcome.
