Carlos -very eloquently stated. Parrots diet cansist mainly of introduced landscaping palms. For more information about how parrots are not a threat to our native birds, I suggest www.cityparrots.org . There is world wide support and love for these highly intelligent birds led by Roelant Junker at the University of Leiden. The world parrot count last year had 69,000 parrots existing in urban areas. Including a lock of 50 amazons in Stuggart Germany.
