Mad Dog Davis and I did a little birdwatching this morning...here are the highlights:

2 adult LARK SPARROWS were perched on the power lines (west side of the road) above Arauz Nursery (33200 SW 217th ave) in Homestead. They also perched in the small trees below the lines. Also present was an EASTERN (YELLOW) PALM WARBLER in the same location.

At Lucky Hammock the BELL'S VIREO was still present in the NW corner of the hammock.

At Mary Krome park there was a nice assortment of passerines including several Ovenbirds, a Yellow-throated Vireo, and a RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET. At least two Ruby-throated Hummingbirds were present as well.

1 BigHorn was seen in his polar bear club attire- "hot pants" and sneakers...I guess the Bailey's in his coffee was keeping him warm. ;o)
