Robin, we have no way to post here, so thought I would drop a line here. Hope you don't mind. On Friday, November 25, my wife and I located a Bahama Mockingbird on Boca Chita Key while on a tour from the national park. It was in the area of the fence towers that are at the beginning of the pathway around the island. Noted were no white wing flashes while in flight. overall brownish bird, slightly larger than the northern mockingbird. This bird was also quite shy, staying in the undergrowth and low shrubery. Did get to see it out in the open initially for good identification.
