Yes, Lawrence. The Miramar Parkway/SW 196th Avenue extension would merge westward with Pembroke road, and a high-speed connection with US-27 is planned. Since, under CERP, most of the West Broward WCA will be surrounded by high levees and turned into the reservoir (C-9 Impoundment) to hold 4-6 feet of overflow from the planned C-11 Impoundment in Weston, I guess that they will need to construct a causeway over the water. I have more info and maps at the link. Construction of C-9 has been deferred at least 10 years.
