Hi Rob,

You nailed all the usual wintering shorebirds at Matheson Hammock -- Ruddy Turnstone, Semipalmated Plover, and Least Sandpiper seem to always overwinter in small numbers at this site. Willet and Spotted Sandpiper are also regular, and arguably it is the best site for Willet in the county.

That part of the park is very under birded, but I have had some interesting birds in the beach-mangrove-marina area, so it was a great idea that you took a look!
