There was an interesting adult LBB Gull with flesh-colored legs. According to Grant, up to 3% of some flocks of adult LBB Gulls show flesh-colored legs. Most also have a dark mark on the gonys (in addition to the red), and Grant speculates that adult LBB Gulls with flesh-colored legs are 4th-year birds that retain immature leg coloring. This LBB Gull was particularly unusual in that it combined flesh-colored legs with no black on the gonys (only a big red spot). We also saw a 1st-year LBB Gull, plus Herring, Ring-billed & Laughing.
