Angel and Mariel,
How were you able to determine the nocturnal flight call of the Clay-colored Sparrows?
I am familiar with their diurnal flight call, which is distinctive, but the nocturnal call frequency and duration (kHz-vs-mS) is nearly identical to several warbler species (including the nocturnal flight call of the Yellow-rumped) and a call note of the White-crowned Sparrow.
