Yesterday late afternoon while doing some car maintenance near Krome & US27 we had three Snow Geese flyover! As night fell, sparrow flight calls started to be heard. Around 1am flight call frequency picked up and Dickcissel, Clay-colored, Grasshopper and Savannah Sparrow were heard in numbers.
Tuesday at Lucky Hammock we had FOS Lesser Nighthawks, four to be exact. We also had Clay-colored, Savannah and Grasshopper Sparrow as well as Dickcissel in the fields west of Lucky Hammock proper.

The impending cold front lit up radar sites behind and in front of the frontal boundary last night. Birds were on the move, get out and bird, badbirdz peeps :)

Nature is Awesome
