The last few evenings I've had a Nightjar flying around my house & it seemed to be calling to another in the area. Tonight it was out again, and I recorded it with my iPod. I even got a glimpse of it this evening, but no identifiable features other than a figure. I checked out the bird songs on the internet and the closest bird I've got that matches is a Common Paraque. I know they are from S. Texas and I wonder if any have been found here.
