Thank you so much for posting the Kirtland's.
I got great sporadic views from 09:30-11:00 on Friday.10/21. Brought back floods of great memories of my last sightings of same bird in '73 in my mid-teens with my late father on their breeding grounds outside of Mio.
Mich..I believe that year they were down to ~ 400-ish breeding pairs with 30%+ Cowbird parasitism. I saw a census figure a couple of years ago of ~1400 pairs with possible other populations in Wisc. and Ontario.Don't want to complain but to bad it wasn't singing .LOL.
