Wow Jim, I was there today from 8:15 to about 10:30! I guess I missed you. I too have seen the juvie Cooper's, but not today. Not to worry, Green Iguanas do not feed on eggs or any meat. The Green Herons are safe.

I missed the Prothonotary! That was the whole reason I was there. I HAVE to get over there later this afternoon, right about now I guess.

Here is my list for today:
Bank Swallow
Tree Swallow- 2; unusual this early
Barn Swallow
Red-eyed Vireo- 2
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher- of course
Yellow-throated Warbler- 3
Prairie Warbler- about 4
Northern Parula- about 10
Black-and-white- about 5
American Redstart- 1 heard
Northern Waterthrush- 1 heard

Other species:
Tricolored Heron- a juvenile
Common Ground-dove- 1
Red-shouldered Hawk- 1
Spot-breasted Oriole- 4 juveniles
