I visited A D Barnes after work this afternoon/evening; also present were Bill Boeringer, Lorena Siquiera and Angel and Mariel Abreu. The Trema at the nature center continued to be active, but the pineland to the north of the nature center and especially the oak groves in the picnic areas outside the nature center were also full of birds. Bay-breasted Warblers were everywhere; dozens were seen, many had bright bay flanks. Here's what was seen:
Cooper's Hawk
Red-shouldered Hawk
Eastern Wood-Pewee
White-eyed Vireo
Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

Swainson's Thrush
Gray Catbird

Northern Parula
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Cape May Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Pine Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Bay-breasted Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Common Yellowthroat
Hooded Warbler
Summer Tanager
Scarlet Tanager
