2 deaths were reported within very short order of each other down at Flamingo. There was no apparent cause of death, the birds appeared remarkably normal. All of this plus the few osprey with bizarre behavior has been reported to the ENP biologist who will be in touch with updates. In the meantime, anyone birding down at Flamingo please keep an unbiased eye towards the osprey - meaning report anything unusual, but do not make unusual out of the ordinary.
