I finally managed to get time to go up to see the Purple Sandpiper today (11/18). I arrived around 8am. It was already staked-out, and feeding at the base of the S jetty. It later rested for a while at the base of the N jetty. The Sabine's Gull was often flying around both jetties. Purple Sandpiper was a lifer!
