Fourteen birders joined Brian and me for a walk through Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and Matheson Hammock. We were greeted early by a flyover of a pair of Blue and Yellow Macaws. We followed the Yellow-Chevroned Parakeets into the garden and walked the Kushlan Bird Trail (KBT) spotting the following birds. We finished the day with 9 warbler species (8 in FTBG), 5 raptors (3 in FTBG) and a new bird for the FTBG Solitary Sandpiper!

Thank you for all who attended.
See you at Bird Day on October 9 where David Allen Sibley will be the speaker.
