An adult Common Tern was present this morning on the flats. New birds: Willets, Black Skimmers, Western and Least Sandpipers. An interesting small Calidris was present: slightly smaller than Western, dark legs, patterned back, muted defined bib, slim appearance, *small, short slim bill.
