The shorebird trickle is picking up on Key Biscayne. Nothing unusual so far, but the "regulars" are returning: Black-bellied, Wilson's and Semipalmated Plover, Ruddy Turnstone and Sanderling. Summering Lesser Black-backed (3) and Great Black-backed (1) Gulls still remain and a Ring-billed Gull showed up yesterday. Least Terns appear to be raising a second brood of the season.

Only migrants at Cape Florida yesterday were Louisiana Waterthrush and Chimney Swift. Mosquito level is high.
