I don't know about that park specifically but I've been seeing Black-hooded Parakeets in Coral Springs since 1993. I usually see them (and hear them) in the area around The Walk on University Drive north of Royal Palm. But they're all over the place in northern Coconut Creek. I had a flock of about 15 in front of Tijuana Flats at Hillsboro & 441 last Saturday and they fly over my mother's house at Wiles & Lyons every day. They occasionally sit on the powerlines along Lyons Rd between Hillsboro & Wiles, as do the Monks.
