It is Dauphin Island, Alabama for those finding it hard to find on a map.
The week before the meeting will be the Alabama Coastal Birdfest with many great field trips. The best is to Blakeley Island Mud Flats. It requires a hold harmless permit in advance, so don't go there on your own without a permit.

I highly recommend the area for fantastic birding, whether you go to the birdfest or FOS.
