There are quite a few warblers in my Miami Shores neighborhood. In my yard alone were eleven individual warblers, along with Blue-gray Gnatcatchers.

Northern Parula- 3
Yellow-throated Warbler- 1
Prairie Warbler- 3
Black-and-white Warbler- 2
American Redstart-2

A walk around Enchanted Forest Park in North Miami could have been very fruitful. Remember, this is the period that Cerulean Warblers are passing through on their way to NW South America.

At around 4:00 am this morning, I heard a Solitary Sandpiper flying south. I find them and Spotted Sandpipers to be fairly vocal at night, at least as far as shorebirds go.

Back to the Panhandle tomorrow,
Alex
