There was an increase in migrant activity at A.D. Barnes this morning, both in terms of numbers and diversity. I had nine species of warbler and two species of vireo. The biggest highlight was a beautiful male Hooded Warbler near the boardwalk in the hammock:
Belted Kingfisher
Yellow-throated Vireo
Red-eyed Vireo 5
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 16
Northern Parula 19
Yellow-throated Warbler 2
Prairie Warbler 7
Black-and-white Warbler 5
American Redstart 4
Hooded Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler 4
Northern Waterthrush
Ovenbird 3
I also had four Hill Mynas in the live oaks in front of the swimming pool area.
Carlos
