Almost all of the dowitchers that I spent any time looking at (which honestly, wasn't many) had what appeared to me to be a flat-backed feeding posture, suggesting Short-billed. The one more round-backed dowitcher that I spent time looking at (because it happened to be at close range) eventually gave a Long-billed vocalization as it flew off. I'm confidant that I overlooked other Long-bills that were out there. I'm not sure that I agree with you, though, that most of the dowitchers currently out there are Long-billed.
I didn't see any terns except the ones I listed, nor have I seen a Solitary Sandpiper, though I believe Toe has.
