I had 6 ROSEATE TERNS yesterday at about 3pm at the Marathon Government Center (MM 48.5) in the FL Keys. Looks like there could be between 5-10 breeding pairs on the roofs of the 2 buildings. The birds can easily be observed flying around the government buildings. After you pull into the access road for the Government Center, take the second left turn and find a narrow trail through the mangroves off the western side of the parking lot. Follow this trail and you can see the birds perched on the pilings ahead or at the fenced-in beach area at the construction site to your left (the former Buccaneers resort). The Roseates are outnumbered by Least Terns. I witnessed several times how a Roseate was chasing a Least to steal the Least's fish.

Other notes:

- I did not find the Bahama Mockingbird at or near Indigenous Park in Key West.
- There were 3 Antillean and 2 Common Nighthawks at the back side of Key West Airport. To get there, turn south on Government Rd. off Flagler Ave. and follow the road through the gate. See Pranty.
