Birded Browns Farm Road on Saturday, highlights included Spoonbills (Have never seen so many in a flock), American Avocets (15), Gull-billed Terns, Black Terns, Least Terns, Solitary Sandpiper, Spotted Sandpiper, Least Sandpiper (lots), Semipalmated Sandpiper, Yellowlegs, Dowitchers, Barn Owls (5), Black Skimmers, Fulvous Ducks, Black-bellied Whistling Ducks.
After that we headed down Snake Road/Dinner Island where we had Barred Owl, Swallow-tailed Kite, Snail Kite (4), Crested Caracara (8), Wild Turkey (8).
Yesterday we tried the Everglades starting off at Eco Pond (no shorebirds)...just a few stilts and herons. Nothing much to report down there....very very slow.
