Dinner Island & Snake Rd. are completely different places. First, Snake Rd. is also called Government Rd. as well as CR 833. It goes north off of I-75/Alligator Alley Exit 49 thru the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation. Passing CR835 (as if going to Blumberg Rd./STA-5) you will see Dinner Island Bird Park on your right. This is a pay-to-bird private enterprise and is not affiliated with Dinner Island WMA. To get to the latter, continue on CR833 past the Dinner Island Bird Park where CR833 will make a turn and go east to west. Continue onward and eventually, you will pass CR846 aka Immokalee Rd. Keep going 2-3 miles further on CR833 and you'll see the sign for Dinner Island WMA on your left. There is a cattle guard/gate that you may have to open, but close it behind you. Follow the dirt roads throughout the WMA to find the birds.
